ABOUT OUR VIOLIN AND VIOLA LESSONS
Our Dublin location offers private lessons on violin and viola starting at age 5 and up. We have students of all ages, from children to adults. Our private violin lessons are one-on-one instruction, and lesson lengths are 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour each week.
Our comprehensive violin lessons include learning: proper technique, ear training, theory, sight reading, and classical repertoire, in addition to students selecting music of their choice.

We offer music lessons 6 days a week from early in the afternoon until late in the evening. If you need to miss a class or reschedule, don't worry! We offer unlimited make up lessons.

PROFESSIONAL OFFICE STAFF 6 DAYS A WEEK
Many music studio desks are staffed by the teacher/owner or more commonly, an answering machine. We have full-time team members at the front desk who are available to assist you from 12:30pm-8:30pm Monday through Friday and 8:00am-4:00pm on Saturdays.
FREE RECITALS AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
We offer recitals and performance opportunities unlike any other school in Columbus. Our recitals are low-pressure, fun, and a great way for students to build confidence and show off all of their hard work.
LEVEL UP MUSIC ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM
Our students have been enthusiastically climbing from levels 1 through 10, earning certificates, wristbands, stickers, and trophies. Think about the martial arts Black Belt program…but for music lessons! This structured, nationally recognized, and motivating program is completely free (and optional) for Academy students of all ages, and our students have never been more motivated to master their instrument!
MONTH TO MONTH LESSONS
We understand that life happens and schedules change, so we don't have any long-term contracts. We only require a 30 days notice to stop lessons.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT Violin LESSONS
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY FIRST LESSON?
If you already have a violin, please bring it with you as well as your bow and rosin. If you do not have a violin yet, we recommend going to Rettig Music. They will properly size you for an instrument and have many rental and purchase options available.
I HAVE A VIOLIN, BUT I AM NOT SURE IF IT IS THE RIGHT SIZE OR GOOD QUALITY, SHOULD I STILL USE IT?
If you have a violin and it is your first time taking a lesson, please bring the violin with you. Your teacher will make sure it is the right size and in good condition to use for lessons and practice at home.
DO YOU HAVE VIOLINS OR VIOLIN ACCESSORIES FOR ME TO PURCHASE AT YOUR STUDIO?
Unfortunately we do not sell any instruments or instrument accessories for you to purchase. We suggest going to Rettig Music to rent/purchase a violin or any violin accessories you would need.
WHAT IS THE BEST AGE TO START VIOLIN LESSONS?
Adults can start violin lessons at any time. For children, we recommend that students be 5 years old or older. Some music schools will start children as young as 3, but our experience has shown that students learn more and have a much better experience if they wait until they are 5 or older.
